Brief for Web Design Project 1 (HTML-email)
Web Design 2
Project 2 – HTML Email Brief
Designer: Alex Tran Web Site: www.eliteskincareand nails.com
· Client is a small business in Naperville that specializes in providing skin and nails care.
· Purpose of email: to announce a special event with OPI, a well-known nail polishing manufacturer.
· Target Audience: Elite Skincare and Nails’ 250 registered customers – who are mostly adult female residents from Naperville and neighboring towns.
· Client needs email designed to visually represent its audience through color, attitude, visuals, language, etc. Content (text)will be business-appropriate, with style and not too technical.
· The overall look and feel of the email must well match the client’s website.
· Client wants special attention paid to typography and photography. Type and image should complement each other. No “cheesy” fonts or garish colors/imagery. All images should be professionally taken.
HTML-emails samples
Above are some samples of HTML-emails I got from my email inbox. In my opinion, none of them is visually excellent but they are good enough to give me an idea how a HTML-email should be composed.
